Hey neversunk. I don't know why you couldn't have both. My lift is a mechanical setup that would only require a longer slot in the lift mechanism to allow it to move higher without affecting the handle. Some of the lifts are cable based, so it would seem they would also have no problem.

Thats good news. I'm gonna concentrate on looking at the different setups then and make sure I end up with a lever type unit that will allow itself to be winched up higher for trailer transport. I'd appreciate it if you'd let me know if you trip over anything that looks like it will work. Thanks for all the help.....I'd love to have the best of both worlds for the plow season.
