I thought about doing the same thing to my 700. Why won't the header fit it is the same pattern as the 700 & 600. The 800, 700, 600 uses the same exhaust gasket that goes to the head.

from my knowledge, which im probebly wrong, the exhaust would only fit to a 700, and that probebly bearly as the exhaust manifold was changed between the 700 and the 800 i belive for larger exhaust ports and pipes, i guess trying it would be the only way to find out.

 

thanks zerowick, that pretty much confirms that it will work. Now to decide if I want to spend money and time to tune it right. How much does it cost to rejet one of these?

they said the jet kit for the silencer was only $25. hurry up buy the stuff, figure out the jetting and tell us how awesome it works!

 

I e-mailed the seller to see if they had put one on yet and see what jetting changes are needed. I'm not sure I'm a good enough tuner to tune one right. Any one have a website or anything that would help me learn? I don't want to burn up a new quad. Where can you get the jetting supplies?

Anyone know how much a HSP pipe is? The whole kit is $419 subtract $189 for the silencer. Leaves $230 for the pipe and jet kit
