Has anyone raced the two big 4x4s if so who won. What is the top
speed on the 800.

 

low 70's, there are occaisions that the 800 will beat the 750, but most the time the 750 will come out on top, it all depends on your geographical location ect...

 

I've driven both, they have about the same acceleration and top speed and what amazes me is how much more the Polaris 800 weighs than the BF...put them at the same weight and the 800 would smoke the BF....the problem with the BF is the suspension, I have a friend that sold his new BF and bought the 800...the features of the 800 like the suspension, EFI, storage, tires, etc. make it a much better utility machine...

 

i heard the bf is just a poorly designed quad overall. kawa's first try at an irs quad and gets it all wrong. plus the venting is a joke, crap gets everywhere. lots of problems on that quad. but man is it fast, saw one race yfz450, z400 and raptor 660, the bf smoked em all off the line for like 75-100 feet then got passed but still hung in there pretty well. oh and the trans sucks *****, real bad.

 

i was up in northern wi on an overnight ride and had to be pulled by a bf when i blew the belt on my 05 800 we never even got to race but i guess he won cause i could never get around him. dang tow strap lol!
