Has anybody polished their rear preadator axle. To do so jack the bike up, remove rear tires, start it, Put it in first, you now have a machine lathe for polishing. Take 400G wet sand paper and take the machine finish down smooth. Increase to 1200+g sandpaper and wet sand to a mirror finish. Takes about five minutes per side and you have just polished up your chromoly axle with a mirror finish. Looks great.
