I bought a used 2002 scrambler 400 2x4 about four months ago and the rear foot brake does not work that good, The hand brake works great. I bled the back brakes and put new pads on but they dont seem to get any better. Any pointers!!!!!!!!!!!

 

mine are gave me the same prob on my 400 tbr I took of the rear brakes all together they only slow you down!! lol [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

 

Not sure, but on mine I have two brake resevoirs and two bleeders on the back caliper. Did you bleed the right one? Does the back end lock up using the hand brake? If not it could be the back caliper is bad.
The 05 has one resevoir under the seat, it doesn't hold much, but it is runs the brake pedal.
I don't know much about the scrambler except stuff about mine, but I hope this helps you out.
