Default Winch mount for Trailboss

I got the rollar fairlead from e-bay. It was $10.99 plus $8 shipping. Adding the winch made riding a whole lot more fun. Knowing you can get out of any situation. I may have to do a post on adding a winch to the trailboss. Cost, parts and part numbers. Even thought the 330 seems underpowered i have been able to keep up with the bigger quads on trails and have just as much fun.

Hey guys thanks for all the replies on the winch mount. 2manytoys a post on the switch and electrical would be great, sounds like there are a few of us interested. Now I need to call Ritter and upgrade the power to haul the extra weight around. Speaking of, have any of you changed clutch springs ? I love the bike but would like to have more response from the throttle.

The only thing I did was a K&N and primary spring change. I am going to test another spring soon to see if I can get more performance out of it. Something that I want to improve is the mid to top end. It seems to fall off when going up slight hills. I am going to try a spring that will hold the rpm's better when going up hills. Ritter does have a complete kit that a few guys have here. They say it helps out alot. I have a top speed of around 48mph but when I go up my street that has an incline it will drop down to around 35mph. Hopefullt the spring will hold the speed better when going uphill.

The Boss is no speed demon for sure. Did the spring change give it more punch off the start and were you able to do the K&N without jetting? I don't feel like the rpm's are right when climbing a steep hill, but have no interest in a pipe ane silencer.

Thanks for all your help!!!!!!!!

The RCR kit on my 325 didn't really increase its top speed. It did give a lot more bottom end torque. If you're just doing the K&N filter, you shouldn't need to rejet. Just curious, is the 330 carb as big a pain to get to as the 325? I bought a 330 carb (Mikuni 34 vs stock Mikuni 31) for 25 bucks new, just waiting on spring to put it on. Jetting should be a real challenge. Thought about getting a dial a jet to help fine tune, but Bubba297 mentioned powerjets on Ebay. 80 dollars vs 30 dollars. Anyone else use one of these?

i just had a winch put on the back of my trailboss. the local polaris dealership had a quick release bracket that attached right below the brake light. it seems to be a good set up but i have not used it yet. i'll put up a pic of it soon.
