A buddy of mine has a 97 scrambler 500 w/ a hot seat performance kit. It runs good and has never been wrecked he wants 2000 for it. Is this a decent deal? Also if I like the way it rides what would it take for it to run w/ my p650 (mods in sig.) Thanks in advance for the help

Personally, I would would for something at least 98 or newer. The 97 was the NON H.O. motor and was also non-concentric meaning that it has 3 chains for the drive system.

Ditto on what BBS said plus I wouldnt go more than $1500 on it becuase of what it lacks.HO motor and concentric drive. I dont hink it will ever hang with the 650 Prarrie but now you go with the HO and it will out perform one.
