? on reeds

New reeds in the stock cage may seal better than your old ones, so no air/fuel mix will escape back. That may give you slightly more air/fuel into your engine, but an immeasurable amount in actual practice. Aftermarket cages like the V-Force give more volume by their design, and thus measurably more mixture making it into the cylinder. That is a long winded way of saying you probably won't see much difference with just reeds unless your stockers are really worn out, but you probably will with a set of V-Force or similar.
