if its spitting and spuddering that means your rich. a lean condition lean enough to make u spit and spudder wouldnt be solved with goin up 2 jet sizes. so most deffinatly your way to rich and loosin lots of gas. i was super rich one day cuz the temp jumped up like 20 degrees from like 85 to 105 and allit did was spit and spudder and run like crap.

you are loosing so much power being that rich,id rejet it for sure..i think i still have the jets hpd sent with the trail pipe,pm me if your interested in them..

 

thanks I have lots of jets well 240,260,270,280,290,300, if you need any let me know!! it was basicley falling on its fase at 3/4 throttel wouild idel fine and little throttel good but 3/4 or more no good and the plug lookes great i don't know? o-well I would like to make a set of nerf bars for it my boards hold way to much mud!!

what color was your plug when you checked it?

 

real tan!!no oil/ black at all!! to some I have seen they would say it is to lean for the cold weather (guessing most people run rich in the cold) alto I am no expert!![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

 

Do you have a digital camera? If you do get a picture of the plug, so we can see what it looks like, and we can help you alittle more.

 

It sound perfect for the temp. your running in, DO NOT go any leaner than what you are. You could maybe even go a little fatter on the main.

the 320 is way to big and is robbing alot of power..with the port work,bored carb,no airbox,k&n filter,head work and the hpd pipe that i have in my machine,the 320 is on the rich side for me..

 

320 on a machine with just a pipe is way to huge!!! if it was spitting and sputtering its becuase its way to rich. you have to be losing alot of power. drop down to whaterver thewayout says then it should run like a bat outa hell!!

 

Do you two need a chain to pull your heads out? If it will Not run on a 300 and it will on a 320 you think he is way to rich? Think it over. Every engine is different.
