03 to 04 4x4 changes? True or False ?

Default 03 to 04 4x4 changes? True or False ?
A polaris dealer told me that in 04 and 05 the four wheel drive system changed?
Any truth to that?

I was told the front wheels lock up at the same time even if only one rear wheel slips.

Im not positive, but I think that they moved the Hillard clutch in the hubs from the front wheels on the SP500 to the front gearcase. The same way it is on the Twins.

yea bbs, that they did do. started with twins and magnums, then in 04 1/2 went to all centeralized hilliards

Except the '05 Scramblers...They still have the hilliard clutches in the hubs.
