New guy just wanting to say hello!!
#1
I started reading this forum in January of this year and I just wanted to say that I now make it part of my daily routine. In December of '04, I graduated college and for a graduation/Christmas present, my wonderful girlfriend of 8 years bought me a 2005 sportsman 700 EFI. She had me tricked the entire time and I felt sure I was getting a new GPS unit for Christmas. She wrapped the key up in an old GPS box and hid the four wheeler in her garage with a huge red ribbon wrapped around it. As of now, my new sp has about 7 hours on it due to me working and living about 3 hours away from my girl and my new toy. The only chance I get to ride is about every other weekend. The good news is that I am going to go ride this weekend. Anyway, I live in NC and I am always looking for new places to ride.
P.S. I was also wondering if there is anything some of you veteran polaris owners could share with me so that I make sure my four wheeler continues to run great and stays mechanically sound.

Welcome to the forum....
To keep your machine running, change your oil and filter regularly.
Check your air filter before every ride.
Do a complete system check on your machine before every ride for proper operation.
Long range items include:
Changing your front and rear differential fluids...
Keep your 3 grease points greased....
make sure your radiator fluid is full, change when recommended...
go through your manual to see complete checks....
