Default Runs Out Of Fuel........

Sup Folks, I have a 2001 Scrambler 500 2x4 and when I put the fuel valve to "on" the bike runs about 300 yards and dies and won't restart until I put the fuel to "res" and then it will run all day......whats the deal? is it the petcock or what?

Theres 2 seperate screens for on and reserve. Turn the valve to on and blow back thru with compressed air. Easy tho, u dont wanna blow it off.

Default Runs Out Of Fuel........

reminds me of my quad, i have a problem with the fuel switch to, its like i use up all my gas on "on" and when i put it on reserve im totally dry, its like it uses it all...but another weird thing is that it only does it once and awhile so idk what to say about that
