Default Predator Sprocket

Anybody mess around with the sprockets on their predators? I have an 03 that I would like to get a little more low end out of since I use to for mostly trail riding and would like to make the front end a little "lighter". I've been thinking of changing the stock front sprocket to a 13 tooth. I looked at Rocky Mt atv but they didn't list any 13 tooth sprocks for the preddy. Any suggestions or places to buy would be greatly apprecieted. Thanks...

I went with a 40t rear, which stock on a 05 is 38....made a big difference. You can get a 13t here, I think you have to ask for a XR650L. You also can get them from here, I think they are the best.

I went to my Polaris dealer and they ordered me a 13 from Sprocket Specialists.
They also had a 38 in stock.
I have been running stock gearing 14/37, but just switched to 13/38 on my 03 TLD. I am going to Glamis next weeek, so will let you know how I like the change. Hope I did not go too low, .....but anyway the chain fits well with this change.

RAJ quad is geared real good now for trail riding, 2 teeth in the back works real well. It will make a little diff on the frontend wanting to come up more!

How much top end do you loose going from a 14t to a 13t in front? I put a 13 in mine, and it felt great, but it sure seemed like I lost alot of top-end. I never ran next to anyone with a speedo so I don't know how fast it actually goes.

I think going to a 13t you will lose some where around 5 mph.

Thanks for all the input guys, I think I'm going to order the 13t for the front. Does it really make a difference which sprocket you change as far as wear and tear on the quad? The front is much easier to change than the rear but I've heard from somewhere that it puts added stress on your countershaft by changing the front vs the rear.
