I hope it doesn't take as long as the Raptor did to come into production. This is probably just the beginning of a new lot of huge displacement quads. This being the first, and the Sp700 being the second. What in the hell did Bombardier start here? Crossing the 600 line may have started a new landslide. Will we see Honda put the Valkyrie engine in a quad someday? I hope not, these things are getting too big perhaps.

 

Its a V-twin. So is it going to sound like a harley? PLEASE tell me it will! That would be friggin cool. Add a set of straigh pipes and some saddle bags, and your set.
I am seriously looking forward to this machine. I hope Polaris counters with a good machine.

 

I will have to see the suspension before I comment too much about the new Quad. The Grizz is already faster and 100cc larger than the SP500; however, there is no comparison between the two bikes. If Kawasaki has incorporated an IRS into the new quad, it may become a contender. If it has the same solid rear axel as the rest of the Kawasakis, they can keep it. Of course this is just based on what is important to me. (ground clearance and comfort)

We will have to wait and see.

I think the kawy v-twin is impressive, but the problems I've been hearing about the automatic
transmissions on the praries has sent me away from the kawasaki. I dont think the words kawasaki and recall mix?

I dont want to see anybody buy it and then two months later a recall begins like with the new honda rubicon the machines are to new they need to be tested for at least two months.

I want to see this thing tortured first before they put it on the market.
