Scrambler 05 500 Top Speed
#15
hey sup guys, i have a trailboss 330, not the best or the worst... but with the wheelie question i might have a reasonable answer. i weigh 180 and can do a wheelie sitting down, my friend on his scramber can't do it even tho he's 200. i got on and did the same i would on my tb. figured out the timing will help u alot. i think its first gas then pull as hard as u can. eventually it'll get easier and easier. (once u get the timing down u can do it all the time) btw the tb is stock

apparently there is something wrong here. I have a 2001 srammy, pretty much stock. I weigh 180ibs. I can pull a wheelie sitting down, standing up, leaning on the handle bars. There is no pulling up, just hang on tight. Plan and simple. The srammy is a heavy quad. Give it alot of gas and she will raise up on her own with out a problem. To actually ride the wheelie, the scrammy has to go way up to the point you feel like your going off of it backwards.

as for speed. I hit 72 by gps. Take note, that is on pavement with tires pumped up and a half mile straight away. also with a slight down hill grade until about half way through, then it goes slightly up hill grade. Acouple a varables to get it that fast. Couldn't hold it though.

For those people having trouble pulling wheelies:
Rub the faces of your clutches with some 400-600 grit sandpaper to remove any glaze that may be present. Wipe the clutches with acetone and put the clutch back together. The belt grabs noticeably harder and wheelies are much easier.
