I seem to remember someone posting a NAPA # for replacement CV boots.. Have a 2000 SC 500 and a 97 SP 500 both in need of new boots.. The SP 500 is the outer rear boots I think its the same # as the SC.. If its from NAPA it must save some $.. Just got thru replacing u-joints on the SP 500 and the Polaris part was $44.95 the same part from NAPA was $9.95.... Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I replace an outer cv boot on my 99 400 4x4 and the Polaris Boot price was only $18.00 - it even included grease and clamps. The best price I saw on after market boots (like Moose) were $20.00.

The NAPA # I posted was for a 99 scrambler 400 4X4. # 2499SB this is something they call their SUPER BOOT (SB prefix). this boot dosen't fit perfit but works just fine. I've had mine on for about 4 months now.I think it's around $15.00.The stock #85-0900 by NEAPCO. But what i did is just found a boot that was close to the same size.Glad some on got some use out of my resech of the boots and U-Joints. doing some R&D with brake at this time.it's looking good I'll keep every body posted on my findings. feel free to E-MAIL me with any thing eles.
