Hello to all my Polaris Brothers

I'm new to the forum, so I'm sure I'm repeating something that has been talked to death about. I have a 2001 Scramber 500 4x4. It is still completely stock. I do mainly trail riding and some some occasional track time. I use to be the fast guy of the group, but all these new 500 and 700 sportsmans are starting to get dirt in my eyes. I like to lead the trail rides. The worst part is the fact that my bother-in-law has a 2000 scrambler 500 and he even can pass me. Now granted, I weigh 240 compared to his 180, but I use to be faster!!. What can I do to get back to the front of the pack. I really like my scrambler and would like to keep it. Can you guys help me out?? What are the first and most important steps to increase my hp?

You want to go to HPD-Inc.com, they have some really good mods for the 500ho. The Powermax pipe and silencer with a clutch kit will really wake it up. This is probably the best pipe for the 500ho. Get a K&N filter also. There are also other things to do but they are major engine mods. The 500ho with the pipe,clutch kit and K&N will easily beat a 700. I know this for a fact! I have seen it.
