Default How to bypass the Rev Limiter

Does anybody know where the Rev limiter is and how to bypass it on a 500 Xplorer/Sportsman.

Your help is appreciated.

Thanks,

Mike

Unplug the black wire coming from the limiter box. This will disable the rev limiter but you will still have to use the overide button for 4x4 in reverse.

There are 2 boxes one is the reverse limiter the other is the Voltage regulator. The rev limiter has 3 wire the regulator has 4.The one on my Scrammy and TB is under the front hood.On my old Sportsman it was down by the radiator behind the shroud. Not sure on yours.
