I just finnished rebuilding my 93 350L. It runs great has much more power than before. The only thing I would like to do is have better brakes. The brakes suck bad. I was thinking of putting a master cylinder off of a dirt bike or off of a high performance street bike. My TLR has dual six piston calipers up front and it can stop on dime at very high speeds. I was wondering if anyone else has tried different calipers or master cylinder. I thought about going with the new style Polaris brakes but for that much I could get a lot better brakes than that.

GO TO YOUR LOCAL POLARIS DEALER AND LOOK AT THE 2001 SCRAMBLER. THEY MADE SO GREAT CHANGES IN THE BRAKING. NEW MASTER CYLINDER, BRAIDED STAINLESS STEEL BRAKE CABLES, LARGER ROTORS. I DONT KNOW IF THESE WILL FIT ON YOUR MACHINE BUT YOU MIGHT BE ABLE TO MAKE IT WORK. I THINK A MASTER CYLINDER OFF A DIRT BIKE WOULD OVERRHEAT AND BLOW SEALS BECAUSE OF THE QUADS WEIGHT. GOOD LUCK
