Default Recoil on a sp700

Well the other day while at the dealer I ask if a recoil from a 700 mv would fit on a 02 700.Well the guy called me back today and said he talked to polaris and yes it could be done.We just talked about the 6 and 700 carbs. He said every thing I would need would come to about $325. Just parts and it wouldnt be to hard to do myself.

I wonder if that will work without any modifications as far as grinding/cutting. I think it would be great to have but don't really see a reason to have one but would be nice. seems like Polaris would put a recoil on the larger quads stock like they do the mv's and 500's

Hi Bill...

I have not looked into this kind of project "in detail", but I have a feeling it's a bit more involved than you may realize. I have no information on the MV machine so I can not do any cross referencing. IF the parts can be had for the $325.00 as you stated.... Sign me up!! If at all possible, could you get the part numbers? I know this conversion has seen quite a bit of attention in the past and there's more than a few people that would be interested...

Keep us posted Bill!!
