Hi Guys,

It’s been suggested there was a “bad run” of fuel pumps installed on the EFI units. If those of you who have had fuel pump failures could post your machine’s “born on dates” it would be helpful to the rest of us in identifying a time slot for when this “run” occurred. Thanks!

 

Had mine replaced with a build date of 4.19.04.

 

had mine go bad after 11 miles on the odo. the dealer installed a new fuel pump/fuel tank assm. and has been fine since.

 

Mine is at the dealer as we speak

2004 Polaris 700 EFI (Build Date 03/18/2004)

 

Mine was built 4/19/04 but after 250 miles no problems

 

This is obviously a very small sampling but from the responses that include build dates we can say the problem dates include, but may not be limited to, March and April of ’04.
