Default Best Piston and Crank Rebuilding

going with a new stock piston may be a very unwise choice, they dont have very strong skirting and often times will break, i just rebuild my 400 and i put in a wiseco and bored one size over, keeps it dependable and wiseco make one of the best pistons out there, there reputation says it all......my2cents.......good luck

Does this make sense, or should I buy one .020 oversize and .040 oversize for when that needs changing and get the cylinder bored again?

(I'm also going to buy a few head gasket kits and a load of other small spares - Polaris parts seem rarer than rocking horse poop in the UK!)
yes, it makes sence to me either way , you could always get a sleeve for the bore.
