Be carful of the extended warranty. I purchased an additional 6 months warranty from Polaris. Knowing that my warranty was ready to expire I took it to the dealer because a couple of tabs on the front plastic cover were broken. They were broken we think from the factory. It was rattling and bugging the crap out of me. The dealer said no problem, just bring it in. The dealer called me and said the repair was done and it was $170 something dollars and it was not covered by the warranty. Also it was not an actual Polaris warranty. He said they only cover specific drivetrain parts. I told him to put my old part back on and I just put a piece of foam under it and now it doesn't rattle. Plus you have a deductable.

Getting an extended warranty is a shot in the dark... It may save you, or just frustrate you.
