whats with this wet disk brake!!

Rick, I agree with you regarding the "wet" brake; the sealed clutch-pack should provide a constant coefficient of friction, with the brake totally sealed from mud/dust/water.

As to the "oil-bath" air cleaner . . . in my misspent youth, automobiles were equipped with these devices . . . they worked, but required more maintenance than the throwaway paper cartridges now fashionable . . .

While I enjoy strolling down memory lane, don't worry--I WON'T discuss the ballistic lubrication system used on Chevy straight-six engines!
