Default Help me out!!!! Please

Hello NHarrison2. My dealer told me there will be no efi 500 yet, though there are rumours it's coming. You might see it in 06 as an 07 model. So he says anyway. I did see the new all black limited edition 500 that comes with the vision rims and it's pretty sweet. If you want a 700 they got that red Dale Jr. edition out, it's nice looking too, but if you're gonna pay the extra for a 700, I would just get the 800 and be done with it!

I have a 05 700EFI and I have to say that it is the best four wheeler I have had by far. I have over 800 miles on mine and have had no problems. One thing I like better about the 700 is that it has hydraulic lifters, so there is no need to adjust the valves at all. If I had to do it all over again, I would get the 700 again. Whatever you get I would definately get the EFI.

Okay, let me ask another ? or two. 1. With efi, has anyone punched the throttle by accident in some steep or hard terrain and have your atv flip. I know with efi its instant acceleration! My 500 you have to really get into it in high to get the power. 2. How many miles does anyone have on their 700 efi and what kind of problems have you had. Thanks guys for all your help.

Take a look at this post, you might try giving Polaris a call, it looks like there might be a 06 500 EFI 06 500 EFI

Over 300 miles of hard riding on my 700 EFI with no problems that I didn't create myself
