i feel like such a jack!## i changed the oil, greased everything charged up my k&n air filter put every thing back together,go to start up the sportman 600let it warm up (you guys know how cold blooded these machines can be) put it in high go to take off and blaa falls flat on it face. so now im thinking what the he$$. back this summer it did the same thing ,left my wife i stranded out in the swamp had to walk about a mile, let me tell ya that was a treat in the dark, i herd noises that i didnt even know were possable.so any way i took it it in and there was water in my gas.i guess.so im thinking ok lets drain the gas put some gas in it problem solved Right Wrong still doing the same thing. so at this point im getting pretty upset, considering the problems ive had with this machine ,but thats another story. so i start reading the sevice man to see if i can fix this thing, check your lines for tears, make sure there not pinched
yada yada yada,so i take the air box cover off and look at it and i notice a line up by where the snorkl is
umm does the line go in the snorkle or outside of iti had it inside,i thought whats it going to hurt to try it on the outside, wouldint you know the machine ran liked a dream. tryed it twice just to make sure, that was it i couldint belive it.so i just wanted to let you fellas know the tube goes on the outside not on the inside ,dont let this happen to you. you would think they would put it in the manual or somthing, i just got lucky, as this ever happened to you guys on am i just an idiot

if it was the vent line for the carb, if it cannot flow, it will shut your machine down and make it run like crap....has to be able to flow freely...same with the vent line on the gas tank....
