Listen to this. I head off and go riding with a couple buddies and come up towing one home. Well after 15 miles of pulling and dropping him home, I notice a amount of oil coming from a rubber hose. The hose comes out the top of the motor and goes and connects with the airbox snorkle. There was no heat build up also. What the heck happened! Did it get too hot? Has anybody had this experience? Thanks!

Due to the low speed towing, low air flow and possiblly a high oil level, the oil probably got a little hotter than normal and some oil was forced up the crank vent hose. It is important not to fill the oil above the full line on grizzlies (they are less forgiving). Severe cases of this can result in the engine ingusting enought oil to hydrolock and damage the piston. If the problem presists, there is another more serious possible cause, but we won't get into that.

Thanks! I will watch the hose and oil level for a while.

I had somewhat of similiar issue. I had oil leaking down the engine from the top of the head. This was on the right side if you are seated on the Grizzly. Took it to the shop, I had a 3yr extended warranty. They said it was leaking out of a failed seal in the engine where the tachometer would have hooked into had this motor been used on a motorcycle. I don't know if this is correct or not, as I am mechanically challenged but it doesn't leak oil out the side anymore.

P.S. I have noticed that even when I get the Grizz back from the dealer after an oil change that the oil window reads a little below the marks, so there is probably value in the earlier reply

The clutch kit is a great add on for a grizzly owner. If you want low rpm's and cooler operation. This is the thing. There was alot of difference between a stock griz and my modified clutched griz. An overall A+.
