I am looking into lowering my predator and was wondering what the best way to do it is with the stock suspension without giving up any of the suspension travel? I want it to be able to handle the biggest jumps I hit with the same good landing or possible better.

 

You can go with the HPD spring kit, Bradracer18 has them, and it lowers it 2 inches. I have the CFM lowering blocks, but I don't jump alot. I have jumped with them but nothing real big.

 

Would the spring kit still alow me to jump big and still have the good suspension and ride? What are the pros and cons of lowering the predator? Thanks for the info btw

 

The HPD springs will work for jumping. By lowering the Pred you will be able to corner better, and it help some what on keeping the front down. I don't have that problem now since I got the +3 swinger on.

 

I thought I seen some lowering brackets on Ebay a while back that looked like a really nice setup. You don't loose any travel, it basically just mounts the top of your shock a few inches higher to drop the front end. I was curious to hear what some of you guys thought of this. It seems like the front end sits way too high on the predator. Would these brackets hurt you on big jumps? Would the A-arms hit the ground when you bottom out??

 

I have never bottomed out as of yet. But I do more drag racing and trail riding then anything. I love them, and been waiting for something like this to come out. I bought them the day that I seen them. But as far as big jumps.....I really don't know. I have hit some small ones and never had a problem.

 

DO NOT jump anything big with lowering blocks. I wouldn't jump period personally, but good size jumps will break the mounts/setup for sure. These are not designed to handle heavy impacts.
