Polaris has sent me an offer for $100 if I will refer a buddy to purchase a new ATV from them.

for anyone who is a bit weary of the "splitting the referral", it's safe. I have split one with earthbound and he is an honest guy. can't beat free money right?

i received the referral coupon as well.

IF you have a GOOD dealer, all you have to do is give it to them and they will use them on the next 3 ATVs they sell. i didn't have to split it with the dealer either!

OH by the way, i think it's kinda stupid the coupon isn't good for immediate family or people who live in the same home as you.

If the customer wasnt informed wouldnt this be a little dishonest? I would assume since it asks for VIN, it can only be used once. Couldnt those unknowing customers have a friend that is hoping to get the referal cash on their purchase. If so, they will then be screwed.
