Default awd on 500h.o.

Hey everyone ! new to the forum , this is my first post . I have a 2004 1/2 sportsman 500 H.O. love it !! In december i put it into a pond . It was submerged for 2 hrs till we got it out . Man was that cold !! lol . anyway , i did all the nessecary fluid drains and changes and took it to my dealer to make sure everything was ok. well it is now stuck in 4wd . even in 2wd reverse all 4 still turn . actually on snow and mud , you can feel it kick in and out . i have been keeping the 4wd on , but i do want it fixed . any ideas what i should check ?? your switch may be shot... also make sure there isnt any water in the front diff case, this can cause a problem too

I went over the switch pretty good . it seems ok . no it doesn't disengage in reverse . I will check my fluids though . where do i check the front diff ? think the plate for my plow is in the way .

My 600 does the same thing, but it does disengage in reverse. What is wrong? Have changed fluid twice.
