Default Slow down....crash....Brooooken leg

Sat evning I was watching my son ride his ttr 90 and my daughter ride her kfx 80 around the yard. She and my son were racing around the track at our house and were only wearing there helmets since they were just joy riding. Well as the heat of the competitiion grew so did the speed. On the last lap as they flew by at mock 9 nine I yelled sloowww doowwnn. It did no good and I watched my daughter fly threw the corner and right into the fence.

After 4 hours in the emergency room, My daughter was released with a broken leg and a few cuts and brusies. The only question she had was DID I WIN?????

If the wife see's this post my 6 and 8 year old boys don't stand a chance. They haven't bugged me yet, but I'm sure it's just a matter of time.

my boy is 6 years old and has broke his arm twice and has never ridden an atv. broke it when he was 2 climbing over a friends leg. and broke the same arm again when he was 4 when he fell out of our above ground swiming pool. accidents are going to happen we just have to pray that they will not be seriously injured when they do.

I have to give you the parent of the year award.

1) You had your kids wearing helmets.

2) You were directly supervising their ATV riding.

Yes, accidents happen, that's very unfortunate. Glad to hear she's o.k.....and the competitive spirit lives on.

I really like hearing about responsible parents and kids sharing these great machines. Like the others have stated, they're great quality time tools.

Godspeed in the healing.
