What killed my battery?
Just an update. After the incident I recharged the battery (out of bike at 2 amps for 6 hours) and brought to my dealer on Thursday 23. They let it sit all weekend and checked it today. Started right up, they load tested the battery and it was fine, charging system working perfect and they couldn't find anything wrong or drawing power. Just must have been one of those freak things. Like I said I plowed all winter using the winch constantly and never had a power problem starting in the severe cold, that's what puzzles me that it went dead now that it has gotten warm out. We'll just see if it does it again. Oh, and it is a black case battery not the white one, and I have the Warn 2.5ci as some of you have asked.
Also they drilled a hole in my Glacier mount plate so now it doesn't have to be removed to change the front diff oil.

Glad to hear that your problem's all worked out.
How big is the hole they drilled? I had to take it off this weekend to change the fluid and it was not fun. I'm just a kid and I had trouble getting my fingers up there behind the radiator for the nuts. My grandfather has an old craftsman drill press I can use, I just need to find a bit that's big enough.

You know what you guys need....what I just installed on my KLR650....a battery gauge/indicator.....they are made for motorcycles, etc., they are small and work great and easy to connect (even though I put my through my relay/breaker panel)
here is a pic, lousy pic and the flash killed the lights on the gauge, but if you look at the reflection in the windshield above it you can see the lights:
battery power gauge
plus I have my finger prints all over it since i just installed it tonight....
