Default what happen?

after a long day of mud and water i decided to power wash my 400L. i did a thorough job getting all the mud. after i finished it fired right up and idled fine but if i gave it any gas it would bog down. if i gave it a lot it would bog and then back fire. so i thought i got somthing wet. i did a hole bunch of differnt stuff like. change filter...change plug. and even drained all the gas. i filled it back up and added a little HEET to get all extra moister out. it fired right up and idled great....but still even a little gas it bog and back fire. i gave up and went to eat supper and returned 3 hours later and started it...i gave it gas it ran fine!!!! now its running great. what happen. if somthing got wet then what? and how do i fix this? thanks and and help would be great

I am not sure, but doesn't HEET take a little time to mix through your gas and gas line. Not that it took three hours, but maybe that along with all the other parts that got wet took some time to dry out totally.

Be careful not to hit your wheel bearings with the high pressure sprayer. I was told you could actually spray the dirt particles into the bearings and this could cause some excess wear. I don't know. Just passing on what I have heard.

Good Luck.

Do NOT use Heet in a 2-stroke unless it's the isopropyl. Regular Heet is a no-no in a 2-stroke, as is any other kind of additive.
