I have a 2004.5 700. Took my atv in for service and dealer told me the battery was shot. I decided to get a battery on my own instead of buying theirs. The dealer kept the original battery, so now I need to know what the original is so I can try and find one. What brand and #.
Also did a search and saw people talking about odessey batteries, but didn't see anyone who had used them. Are they better? Or any other options.

I don't know what battery to use ... but i would look into a sealed gel cell battery and just find one that would fit.

 

Go here..this is the one..BATTERY It is number 10 on the schematic. I would stick to a Yuasa battery, they are pretty good. whatever you do, don't go to walmart, those everstarts last about a month and die! If you are looking for it cheaper I wouldn't know where to tell ya.
