Any of the top pipes will be great if you use the clutch kit from the same manufaturer to match the pipe. Aeen HPD RcR HotSeat Dynoport Just stay as far away as you can from DG or Fmf .

HPD, Dynoport,CPI and AAEN are the tops. RCR is good also. Like ftwfth said you must get a clutch kit to match the pipe or you will not get the full power capable of the pipe.

I agree on the DG, but whats wrong with the fmf? ive ran the hpd and aaen trail pipes and mine makes better power than both of them for trails.

FMF is a good pipe unlike the DG. The only thing about the FMF pipe is you cant match a clutch kit to match the powerband of the pipe. No one knows where the powerband even is on FMF pipes. If you call FMF they say you dont need a clutch kit. I have not heard of FMF pipes puting out more power then HPD or AAEN.

with some testing and a good knowledge of clutches and motor work, any combination can be made to work. I have found few places that sell a pipe and clutch kit that works perfect the minute its installed. if that were the case we wouldn't be having so many people asking what everyone else does to make their bikes better and what they have changed or tried after getting the parts. and as far as fmf saying you dont NEED a clutch kit, well no, but you dont need one to run any other pipe either. but it will give you more performance in the long run.

For a 2 stroke Polaris or even 2 stroke sleds you do need a clutch kit to match the powerband of the pipe. If you just stick a pipe on it will either shift out or not shift enough when the pipe is at its peak power. This is where you need to know what rpm's the pipe makes its power at so you know how to match a kit that will shift with the powerband. Otherwise you will miss the powerband and not get all the power the pipe produces. So yes you do need a kit that will shift out with the powerband.

uhh yeah, thats pretty much what i said in the last sentence. and also, how many guys on here have actually ran and tested these brands of pipes all on the same setup bike, or are we just going by what so and so said as to what works and what doesn't? one thing i will say is no matter who ya call to get your pipe from redex, they'll tell you its better than someone elses for whatever reason.

The reason I said to stay away from FMF is that in order to get it good you NEED to know the clutch and they dont get you any info on it.It is test until you hit it.I am looking at a FMF turbine core II for my HSP pipe that HSP silencer is wat too loud everyone was complaning the lats time we went out.
