Default 500 H.O. vs. Vinson

As already stated the Sportsman will be the cushy Cadillac on the trails and the Vinson would be the sporty Corvette (as far as ride and handling goes). I was looking at the Sportsman and the Vinson back in January and I opted for the solid rear axle over IRS because of my style of riding. If you can get a good deal on that used Sportsman then that sounds like the way to go if that's the machine for you.

It sounds like the sportsman is in awesome condition. I would offer the guy 4k for the sportsman and go up slowly from there if he doesnt like your offer. I could only get 4800 for my 2004.5 sportsman 500 HO with a full four year waranty and it only has 300 miles on it.

is a new Vinson only $4500? that doesn't sound right. that sounds too cheap.

isn't a new Vinson around $6K plus?

No the Vinson is not $4500. But what I was looking at was the fact that the Sportsman had very few miles even though its 2 years old and it looks new, plus all the extras. I've seen on Procycle's website you can get a Vinson for $5100, which sounds really cheap to me. I don't know if there's a bunch of hidden costs or what. Anyways that was my reasoning.

One of the main things I would want if I was putting this kind of money down is a warranty.

Doodle
i would buy a 2005 Sportsman400 over a Vinson for that kind of money. have the dealer add the free EBS and $49 Warn 2500 winch, 4.9% Financing, and you're all set bro!
