I dont want to sell it now anyway! I have decided to pay it off and keep it and add lots of accessories and then down the road I will buy another one Do you have sales tax where your located? That price doesnt sound right at all

Polaris500HO4x4 is on the mark, I walked out the door with my 04.5 Sp600 for $6000, didn't have to pay tax because I bought it out of state. polariscruiser04, what did you pay that you are asking $6k? You must have gotten smoked.

Doodle, offer him $3000, it's 2 years old and being a Polaris it's 2 generations ago so it looks even older. Tell him that's more than a dealer would give him.

I payed 7k out the door with TAX, title, plate, and a 4 year waranty. I pated 5800 for the actual quad but with tax, title, plate, and waranty it was 7k out the door! Is that really bad for the state or pennsylvania? I dont think it is!

Default 500 H.O. vs. Vinson

I am a first time ATV buyer. I am looking at the Vinson 500 and the Sportsman 500. The 2005 Vinson is $6200, one dealer near me has a new 2002 Sprotsman for $5200 with crome wheels or non crome for $4900. Both prices are a little high for me but I think I can swing for $5200 but do you think that is a good price for a new Sportsman? Thanks for any help. I have been looking for about 2 weeks now and it looks like most of the 500/650/700 hold there value pretty good.

Just an example but a good reference. The Vinson is a good machine but rides quite rough compared to the Polaris, a buddy has one and swapping from one to another is pretty dramatic. The Vinson is only 3.5 wheel drive as opposed to the Polaris with all 4 turning when engaged.
