Looks like I'll qualify for the Alzheimers event now. Got home late last night and the 3:30 alarm clock gets here too early. Laid the manual out to bring to work. Remembered it about the time I turned my computer on. Good news is (besides I saved a bunch of money on car insurance) I'm off the next 4 days. So If you still need it, I can post it on Thursday.

CATman, didn't you have a link that showed the banshee in pieces? Looks like it came out pretty good.

No I don't. I should have though. It was a running quad when I got it, the engine was totally rebuilt from the crank up. So I basicly paid for what the guy had in the price of rebuilding the engine, however here's a list of what it needed that I replaced.

Front bumper
Front arms
Front shocks
Front rims
Handlebars........ see a pattern here?? It was wrecked hard in the front end.

New head- old one was cracked
Reeds
Reed intakes
Pipes
F&R sprockets
Chain
Rear brakes
All four tires
New clutch & pressure plate
Clutch cable

So as you can see it was a $hit heap. But, almost all parts came off eBay & my total cost including the purchase price of the quad to start with is $970. Not bad for a strong running Banshee.

That is a good spring but it is basicly the same as a Polaris green.I ran one in my 500 for awhile but it toped out too low on the rpms(6200)Had to go with a yellow and heavier weights. For a stock 4stroke you cant beat the old Polaris white.

THe orange/black looks like it would be too much engagment for me.IMO on a 500 the lower you can engage the better because of all the torque the motor makes.

Great, thanks everyone for the replies. I think I'm gonna try either the Polaris white or that EPI pink.....

I like the EPI pink alot better than the white. The white will give you a stronger take off but the top rpm's are not as high as the pink. The pink starts out like stock but has a much better mid to top end. It will give you a higher topspeed.
