What motors have you put into the Trailblazer chassis?
#1
I have a 94 RM 250 with a bent frame and worn susp. The engine has been rebuilt and has been ported, and I got a pipe, reed cage, cage spacer, shaved head, and a billet clutch basket. Its fast, fast, fast. Too fast, in fact, hence the bent frame. And, I have an 02 Trailblazer 250 with a pipe and clutch kit that I don't/didn't ride much once I got the dirt bike.
So, how much of a job would it be to make the RM motor work in the TB frame? I have a stick welder and can lay some pretty good beads with it, so making mounts is no trouble. But, my only concern is the sprocket is on the wrong side. Can that be swapped onto the splines where the disc brake sets on the rear axle? And what about where the swing-arm pivots? Any ideas for taking care of this? Thanks in advance!!
I think if I can pull this off, I'll have one hell of a sleeper........
