They are usually different around the country. Down here BigTex is a large manufacturer. What I did was look in the phone book and call each one. I found a trailer place that makes a specific trailer to haul 2 four wheelers. They fit perfectly. Its a 5x13 foot trailer.

When I went looking for a ATV ramp, I went to several dealers in the Denver area and all had the same 40" wide ramp. I argued with one dealer that the stock SP500 tires extend out to 45" inches wide and this ramp was too narrow to comfortably go up and out of a high pickup bed. He thought I was crazy and just stated "we use this ramp all the time...". I bought the ramp because I needed one that day. In this day of product liability, I can't see why a manufacturer would produce a 40" ramp. I've since seen several ramps much wider on the web.

I use a 6 x 10 BigTex Trailer to haul 2 ATV's. I had to cut out the rail on the front left-hand side to load the front ATV from the side. The load balance is fine and it works great.

FARMER123 HAS THE RIGHT IDEA. IF A TRAILER ISNT IN THE BUDGET CUT OR UNBOLT THE RAMPS. USE A STRAP TO SECURE EACH OF THE RAMPS TO THE BUMPER.
YOU COULD REALY HURT YOURSELF OR WORSE YET YOUR QUAD.

I think "really hurt yourself" is an understatement as to what would have happened if that quad came over and landed on me. Like I said earlier "Grease Spot" would be all that was left.

One place to look for a trailer is anywhere that sells large garden tractors. They usually have or can get a tilt-bed trailer sized for a tractor, bagger, and small trailer. They should be big enough for 2 ATVs.

Short narrow ramps are dangerous. Not only are the short ramps steep, the momentum required can be unnerving.

I was at Northern Supply the other day and there was a man and his son looking at ramps and buying the cheapest ones that he could find. I told him about the benefits of the larger ramps but he didn't seem to care and picked out the short ones.
Which I later saw him putting in a Chevy K1500.

Good luck. I hope the quad doesn't fall on the kid. It's too late for the father.

Buy the longest ramps & widest (preferably curved) ramps that will fit in the truck once the quad is loaded. Just my 2.37 cents woth.
