Pull Start on 700 Sportsman:

Does anyone know if the pull starter off a 700 Polaris snowmobile will fit on a 700 Sportsman ATV?

 

Not sure about that, but you can install a pull start using the parts from a 2005 sportsman mv7. They come with a pull start already
on them.

 

Thanks for the heads up on the MV7, I was thinking about ordering the parts off the military 700, but I’m guessing it will be $500 or more.

If the parts off the 700 Sled will fit, I can get used stuff cheap.

 

no the 700 liberty recoik and related will not fit the atv 700 engine, not even close. totally different, only way to get it is the recoil and flywheel of a frontier snowmobile, or now the flywheel and recoil from MV7. Good luck
