Google has a new feature under their GOOGLE MAPS page. They have satellite images of North America. If the link does not take you right to it, look for the satellite link in the bar on the right toward the upper third of the page. I found my house. If the image was any better I could tell if my wife was cheating on me. LOL I guess if I was a cheatin man she could check on me too. As it is, she'd just catch me humpin my quad while she wasn't looking.LOL

 

those pictures are at least 5 years old. there is a parking lot in the picture that hasnt been a parking lot in 5 years.

The pic of my neighborhood is a little newer, but it's still from summer. I put a pic of my house from space in my photo gallery.

PS- BING my guess is big brother can count the hairs on your head from space. muhaha.

Been too drunk to find my house on the ground. Don't think the space photo would help. They've built three new subdivisions in our neighborhood since that photo was taken.

 

Wouldn't let me zoom in , says not available for my region. Have seen it on other sites. Too bad because I live down the street from a nudist colony, but you wouldn't see any thing because it is located in a forest with small lake.

 

That's weird, I was just playing around on that site looking at the local riding spots last night and now I stumble onto this thread. The pics of my area are at least 3 years old because most of the land around my friends property isn't built over in those pics. D*mn developers.

 

I can just bairly see my house through the trees. lol

they take these pictures for development purpose's and land permits etc. Its mainly for businesses here in florida. They take arials once a year or so . if you add a certain amount of concrete to a driveway of a business you have to put in a drainage pond to control the run off etc. its a good way to be sure people are doing what they are supposed to. atleast I guess thats the theory.

 

Guess you better be careful of what type of "weeds" you have growing in your backyard.
