hubs sticking on 99 sp

my hubs wont disengage when i first crank it up.i have to pull forward then backward several times to get them to disengage.anyone else had this same problem?

Check the magnuts in the front hubs, I had this problem with my Magnum 500. But the magnut screwed the inner circlip holding it on, then began to get hung up in the engage position.

hub fluid could need changed. (Thinner, same quality) or loosen wheel-bearing nut 1/8 turn. Mine was too tight from factory. I backed it of one notch and works great. ride'em hard Polcat

well ive got 946 miles on it and up until 20 mile ago after it sits for awile(overnight)the right front was sticking,today they both stuck and had to backup and go forward several times to disengage them.oh by the way on the way top the store the thing pegged 60 mph according to the factory speedo.

well im goin to change my hub fluid today before the weekend,what fluid do yall suggest?i heard someone say mobile1 synthetic.

silverado,

Mobil 1 synthetic ATF--all the way. Drain them good, clean off the magnet on the drain plug, and refill to the 3 o'clock position. Manual says 4 o'clock, but I've always used the 3 o'clock, and never had problems. Any questions, email me.

well i just got threw changing my hub to the mobil 1 synthetic and it seems to fixed my problems,i went ahead and serviced my shifter box while i was at it.thanks guys!!!!

i think it is alittle faster now for some reason,would hit 60mph no problem. im on stock tires.

i had very little residue on my magnets also so i guess that was a good sign.no more sticking hubs.
