Riding in Colorado???
I don`t know of any parks but the past two summers I took vacations out to Colorado. I rode in the Tin Cup, St. Elmo, Pitkin area. Lots of riding. You can ride a loop of Tin Cup Pass, Hancock Pass, and Cumberland Pass. There are additional roads off of this loop. Pitkin may have small Bed & Breakfast. You can ride the ATV`s in Pitkin. A small book "ATV`ing in 14`er Country" covers this area. The Lake City, Ouray, Silverton area has good riding. All three towns have motels but you will have to trailer the ATVs to the trailhead. Lake City is the closest to the trailhead. The trail starts right at the edge of the town. Does anybody know if it is legal to ride ATV`s on Forest Service Road 742 that runs north of Taylor Park Reservoir?

Riding in Colorado???
It's usually posted if you're not allowed to ride atvs in a certain area.
There a LOTS of places to ride here in CO. I might suggest asking that question on www.atvquadsquad.com. They have a Colorado based forum that I'm sure would yield better results.

Riding in Colorado???
Hello,
My buddies and I spend a week riding in the Colorado Mountains every year, and we have gone back to the Taylor Park area many times. There is much more riding there than you can do in a week. Taylor is right over Cumberland Pass from Pitkin (the area a previous post mentioned). There are cabins you can stay at at the "Taylor General Store". There are also some additional rental cabins a little ways down the road from the General Store that the guy on the phone can tell you about if you call. I think that they might be called "Holt's cabins".
The Taylor park store is on line at:
http://www.taylorparktradingpost.com
The phone number is listed there also.
You are allowed to ride on the roads in the area to get to all trail areas. There is one gas pump at the General Store.
FYI: This area starts at 9,000 foot elevation, and the rides go up from there to 12,000 feet.
Good luck,
Lorrinl
