Yes an easy out should work if you can't get it out any other way.

Also if you use an easy out you will probably have to drill a hole all the way threw the oil plug and you may get metal inside your motor. Here is some easy out tools.

thanks, sportsman70003, i am gonna let my mechanic take a look at it porbably tuesday if i can't get it out with the tapping of the hammer....this sucks this had to happen...what do i do about the engine reading 200 on the temp..someone said that is too high, but my red light never comes on, the fan works just fine, and have never had a problem with it overheating that i know of.???

200 sounds a little hot but my fan comes on at 196 so thats just 4 degrees cooler than yours. On the 700's the hot light in the pod should come on at 221 degrees. What temp does your fan turn on? Are the gauges you installed new, the temp gauge wasn't drop or anything was it?
