Default electric problems

This winter i have torn down my quad to paint it and clean it. Now that i have put it back together and tried to start it there is no spark. I think everything is connected right. It ran good before i did this. Im not really that good on the electric systems on atvs so would anyone have any advice.

If u go to the harness under the front cab along the plate that the top steering post mounts to, there will be a single black wire in there somewhere, unplug it, and try it if u got spark then, it is something with the accesores on the chasis, ie kill switch, key switch, wiring harness shorts. if still no spark, uv got either the stater wired wrong, or the coil wired wrong, these are the only components in use with the Black Igniton Ground disconnected.

good luck

nos spark with the wire unplugged, must have the wiring incorrect on the stater, or to the coil. I am saying stater, not starter. The stater is one of the primary components of the ignition system.
