Which big bore Atv for pulling a big load?
I am giving up riding my raptor and I am looking to buy a machine for some play and some work. One job that is important to me is moving my ski boat in and out of it's storage. My boat weights about 3500lbs. and I have to back it up a small grade into the storage bay. Because of the tight confines it is hard to do with my crew cab truck. I know that is above the manufacturers ratings, but I know some of you out there move some heavy loads. I am leaning towards the 800 sportsman, but I am open to suggestions. Will the belt trannys hold up to a job like this? Thanks for you pearls of wisdom in advance.

Any Twin should do it in low gear but you might smoke the belt if you have to much incline.
My sp500 pulled a f-150 and a trailer stuck in snow out with his help up an incline of the ice.
There was also a YAMAHAHAHA in the trailer but he tried it and no go.i would say the 800 is the best bet.

I know a guy that owns a business making boat covers and ive seen him move some big *** boats with his polaris 425mag hes been doing it for years.I mean boats 20-25 foot long.So i would think anything from the 500 and up would do it.The one thing he did put on it was a spring I dont know what there called but it gos from the hitch up to the bar. They keep the quad from squating down so bad.
