Mnfriesen, The ss one filters smaller particles(they use ss for Dialisis machines) and they still filter even if ya get water in the oil, paper will swell up and then by-pass the oil filter all together.

 

Ya know I love the Predator but the only thing I am not impressed with is the huge gap between the front and rear fenders around the tank area. what the heck was polaris thinking? good news is that you can go to Fullbore and order new plastic that covers that gap, I believe it's a one piece unit.

I didn't care for the gap at first but you get used to it, doesn't bother me at all while riding. IMS makes a larger capacity gas tank that fills the gap also.........

 

I really want the LE predator but I started thinking about it and I think I would rather have a regular predator then add the fullbore plastic and my own pipe(HMF) and brushguard(DG) and I would rather have the sixpack rack instead of the grab bar and it still comes with the fox shocks and razr tires on douglas rims. I can't see buying the LE and then taking all the extras off to add my own. in the long run it will be cheaper for me to start with the red/black 500 predator and then add my own extras of my choice. what do you guys think?
