yo, PF my LE just came off the polaris truck today and it's still in the crate. What upgrades are a must right now. I got a k & n filter,polaris handguards,and nerf bars. What else is a must? skid plate? shoulsd I change the front bumper. I'm trying to take advantage of this 15% discount on all accessories. I'm trying to hook it up

 

The front grab bar is a lot better than the stock one, larger diameter and wider so ya can get both hands on it if ya need to lift it. Nerfs.. excellent choice, if ya look at my gallery page ya can see why I want to protect my leg, the arm pics arn't as bad as the leg!!!!! I havent had enough seat time on mine to see where the improvements need to be made, just that it's an improvement over the 2003 I had, the shifting is sooooo much better, and the reverse is great too. A friend of mine has the new 400 ex with reverse, I'll race him reverse, I dont think theres a limiter on it!!!! If anything get some new riding gear with the 15%, now I'm looking to get new stuff, mines is the predator black and red, it gets way too warm during the summer, so I think a white outfit would keep me cooler and match the quad. Maybe if ya do alot of sand riding get some rims with paddle tires on them, I would like to try a set first before sinking money into my own set, would be good in the winter with snow too. One more tip, if ya haven't already done it, is to flip the rear grab bar upsidedown, makes for easier lifting since the Preddy has 11" of travel. Hope I helped some... and congrats on the new Predator!

 

TRUST me, if you ride in the soft stuff, you want paddles. they are soooo great. just make sure you get V paddles. the straight arnt fun, you cant slide or anything.


P.S i think you'll smoke your friend with the EX. you've got a great machine

 

PF that was some good info, what about a skid plate?

 

The stock plastic ones do a great job, I cant justify spending money on aluminum just have it get bent when the stock plastic ones don't.

Congrats on the new LE's guys. They are great machines. I like the looks of the LE, but around here there is a lot of dirt and mud which tends to stain the white plastics.
