Trading a 2000sp for a 2001ho

Im with ATVing on this one.About 3 months ago,I sold my 99 Sportsman 500cc with 1400 miles,clutch kit,plow,mud runners, for 5800.You guys should try an all out sell of the quad yourselves before GIVING it to the dealer,

You should ask a good dealer how much the H.O cam and 40mm carb cost to buy and have installed to see if it's cheaper to make a H.O out of your 2000 SP than to trade the whole bike.When you trade your 2000 SP in do you loose your winch with it? because the 2001 H.O do not come with one.

it would be me taking the winch off and putting it on my new quad.

thinking about buying a 500h.o.but would like to know an owners opion.are there any minor/major problems with the bike.i just dont want to make a $6900 bad investment.please help,i dont trust dealers they just tell you what you want to hear.

I asked a dealer the other day about the cam and carb to convert and said he had sold several pairs. If I remember right it was between $450 and $500 for the parts.

well, $6900 would be a bad investment, you'd be getting HOSED...

what do you mean i'd be geting hosed? what would be a reasonable price on a 2001 500 h.o.sportsman?

5995 best,but most people see 6200. dont pay anymore than 6500.
